Saturday, December 26th, 2009When you scratch a lotto card, usually at the bottom left or right corner there is a letter. I know "X" means you lost, but what do the other letters such as "P" mean?
In Pennsylvania, the letters "B, J, K, P, Q, Z" mean that you lost. Those letters don’t have any significant numbers associated with them (i.e.: F T Y on a card means $50)
How much would you donate to charity if you won lotto?
Saturday, December 26th, 2009I noticed that 4 lucky people won the first division prize of the $50million Oz lotto draw last night ($13million each). If you won that much, how much would you donate to charity or to the betterment of others less fortunate?
If I were to win $13,000,000.. I think it would be safe to say I’d stick $500,000 in an account for my daughter ..so that she has it for her education and something towards a property of her own …
SO that would leave me with 12 1/2 million….I’d keep maybe $5,000,000 MAX… and the rest would be invested .. so that I could continously sponsor several charitable organisations ( this would include sponsoring several children from third world nations)..
I don’t need millions for myself….my family don’t need millions..
But I would love to have enough money at my access to be able to help others more often

Well, this is a classic Swedish Lotto commercial from many years ago and is probably remembered by every man and woman in our country .
It’s about an employee (Åke) whose hard day of work is over and he’s in a good mood because it’s Friday. Now he’s prepared for a well earned weekend. Unfortunately, his cocky, pompous boss ruins this by stopping Åke on his way out and starts whining about how bad his report is. He’s telling Åke that he’ll have to rewrite the report from scratch and he wants it on Monday. That’s when it snaps for Åke, and to the boss’ suprise, he starts to immitate him in a retarded way.
I love it! 
The meaning/message with this commercial is that you can win so much money on the Lotto, that you can even afford to be malicious to your boss.
Now you know what it’s all about. If you don’t, this’ll be a “WTF?! moment” 
Here’s a translation of the dialouge:
Woman: Have a nice weekend
Åke: Have a nice weekend
Åke: (Passing his boss’ office) Have a nice weekend!
Boss: WHOAWHOAWHOAWHOA! Sit down.
